The Bruce Lee School of Business Promotion

I’ve been in a bit of a martial arts kick lately.  No pun intended.

Seriously considering joining a school after I do some more research.

Anyways, my current fascination is Bruce Lee.  The more I learn about the guy, the more I realize he was SO much more than just a really ripped martial artist.

I was listening to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast the other day.

Something… interesting came up.

Joe mentioned one of the threads on his forum that caught his eye.

It was about a mixed martial arts instructor/entrepreneur trying to sell spots to a business seminar… a copywriting seminar to be precise.

My ears pricked up… but it was impossible to mentally prepare myself for the business insanity that would unfold…

The seminar this guy was promoting was one of those 3-day weekend deals in Vegas.

Do you still watch the mainstream news?

I went on a “media diet” (inspired by a suggestion from Tim Ferriss’ excellent book The 4-Hour Workweek) about a year ago.

What began as diet has become a lifestyle.

I worry less about world events that are out of control.  I probably trust my neighbors more than I used to.  And my faith in humanity in general is a bit stronger now.

Occasionally, I’ll tune in to a select few podcasts and online sources to scratch my itch to keep informed.
